Ulgen Yesil

Ulgen Yesil was born to a family that has already been travelling since many years due to his father’s profession, therefore he always says that ‘ This is my mission in life, I was born travelling ‘  .

After spending few years of his childhood in Belgium  , Yesil family returned to Istanbul and  his father sent him to a French school which opened the path to him to be a tourism professional .

His first experience in tourism was working as an operations executive at Club Med Hotels in Turkey during his school holidays which helped him to decide how to spend the rest of his life .

After the graduation he started working as an incoming tourist guide in French .

After 10 years  , his irrepressible passion to meet with new cultures and being on the road, took him to spend 2 years abroad .

When his journey ended up in Istanbul, he was one of the few who were fluent in Japanese and it was his first step of meeting the east by means of tourism .

Since his return he had been working as a most-preffered professional Japanese speaking guide until he has decided to expand his knowhow and expertise beyond Turkey borders .

On 2010 he moved to Thailand and assigned as  a general manager for a tourism consultancy company .  

During his assignment he got to know more on the far eastern culture and business dynamics which encouraged him to spend the rest of his professional life with ‘Sors Travel Services’ along with his old pal Mr Bulent Gok .

Now Mr Ulgen , the managing director of Sors Travel Services is residing in Jakarta & Bangkok  and pleased to fulfill the needs of the outbound tour operators as a service provider by offering land services at various countries in Europe including Turkey .
